Accelerate Your Health Day 1 Welcome!

Welcome to Our 7 Day Accelerate Your Health Challenge

Listen NOW…

Welcome to our Accelerate Your Health 7 Day Challenge!   Did you know that you have an amazing body! During the next 7 days, I’m going to share with you some of the latest research breakthroughs and several powerful evidence based tools, and techniques that you will help you to enhance your health. This program designed to share with you the keys to supercharge your health.

How is Your Health TODAY?

How are you feeling? When was the last time you felt really great? Is your energy level low, that leaves you feeling sluggish and tired throughout your day? Do you typically schlep through life, carrying your body along, but suspect that you must do something soon to prevent the development of a serious illness?

While you may be physically healthy, if you have been under stress without resolution for an extended period, then despite your best efforts, you’re at risk of developing chronic diseases.

Are you ready to improve your health but don’t know the right steps to take? Maybe you are currently living with a serious chronic disease, perhaps even one your doctor says is terminal. Whatever the case may be, this precious moment, is the right time for you to step up and take charge of your well-being!

This program is based on the principle of SuperHealing, which is an approach I am excited to share with you.

What is SuperHealing?

SuperHealing is an approach to taking care of ourselves, whereby we create a healthier environment that will allow our cells to unleash their innate capacity for high level functioning.  High level functioning, optimal cellular physiology, creates vibrant  health and radiant well-being.  Your body has the  innate capacity of the body to heal itself.  SuperHealing is your innate ability to engage and accelerate your body’s powerful natural healing capacities.

That means involving your mind, your body, and your spirit to restore the balance necessary to open the floodgates of healing that are not under your conscious control. This approach may require that you draw upon a broad range of clinically proven techniques, tools, and processes that speak to your needs and personal preferences. The SuperHealing approach affirms and recognizes that your essential nature is derived from your spirit, the foundation of all health and well-being.

A SuperHealing approach emphasizes the importance and necessity of involving all of you, every aspect of your being,  mind, body, and spirit in the creation of optimal wellness, and the true causes of disease.   SuperHealing is the movement from wherever you begin—toward an increasingly positive state.

The beauty of the SuperHealing approach to wellness is that it really doesn’t matter what your current state of health is when you begin the program. Everyone can experience improved health, if they do the right thing to help the body heal. Depending on how far your health is from ideal, you can either dramatically improve it or subtly but meaningfully enhance it once you understand what actions you must take. Vibrant well-being is your birthright. The challenge is learning how to create it, because if you’re like most people in our society, you were never taught how to be healthy.

Our 7 day challenge is designed to help you make a few simple, and powerful changes that change dramatically improve your health and well-being.

So let’s begin!

What do you think about your health? Your beliefs and perceptions about your health are very important. I want you to spend today focusing on your health. Since you want to improve it—what’s going on to make you want to do that?

What do you believe to be true about your body? How do you really think and feel about it (tell the truth, it is very important to be honest!)

To begin our program, and lay the foundation, it is important for you to explore your health beliefs.  Most of us don’t think of them, and take them for granted, not realizing that our perceptions and beliefs help to shape our health.  Sometime today, I want you to set aside 30-60 minutes to answer all of the questions in the next section. I recommend you write them in a notebook or a few sheets of paper. It’s important for you to understand your perceptions and beliefs.  They play a significant role and have a tremendous impact on your health. And I want you to save your answers, so you can periodically review them, so you can detect any changes.

Accelerate Your Health Day 2

Accelerate Your Health Challenge Day 2

Listen NOW….

Welcome to day 2!  I hope you’re ready to dig in and begin with a very important aspect to accelerating your health.  Now that you’ve reviewed your health history and beliefs and set your intention to improve your health- today we are going to focus on physical detoxification – how to help your body detoxify.

First, it is critical for you to understand that your level health, reflects the functioning within your 50 trillion cells. Your cells are designed to function with ease and produce health.  Normal functioning creates health, while dysfunction and produces dis-ease.

Here’s a simple formula that is the foundation of everything I will share with you today and throughout my 7 day challenge:
Health = NutrientsToxins+ Movement*

That asterisk is there, because in a few days, I will share with you amazing information about the paradox of movement.

Everything you’re exposed to affects your internal environment and your health. Your cells fundamentally recognize and respond biochemically to everything you in your life, as either a nutrient or a toxin.  It’s either good and healthy or harmful and unhealthy.  It’s profoundly simple. A healthy environment creates health, while an unhealthy one creates disease.

It takes a lot of cellular dysfunctioning to create a dis-ease, because your cells are also designed to easily repair and regenerate what’s wrong.

How to Create a Healthy Internal Environment

The first thing you want to do is reduce your exposure to and remove toxins.  You might wonder why I didn’t begin with nutrients, since that’s the first ingredient of my health formula.  It’s important to focus first on removing what you don’t need, then add the good ones-the nutrients.

All ancient healing traditions and many contemporary ones begin with detoxifying your body.  Your cells already do that, and certain organs, your liver and kidneys, specialize in removing toxins from your entire body. And you can help the process.

Stop Eating Processed Food! The vast majority of Americans consume over 70% processed food. It is a major contributor to the dramatic rise in chronic diseases.  The truth is, it’s  not healthy, and a lot of it, really stretches the definition of food.  You must eliminate it from your diet.  As much as you can (which quite honestly, should be all of it.  Period.  Our reliance on processed foods is one of the leading causes of our skyrocketing rates of obesity and chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, hypertension, Alzheimer’s, asthma, and many, many more.  Processed foods, especially fast foods are known to cause brain shrinkage, cognitive impairment and lower IQ scores.

Processed foods contain harmful toxins, food additives, flavor enhancers, chemicals in the manufacturing process, are all cellular decelerators that turn on unhealthy genes. There’s more info about this topic in our promotional materials.

Also, eliminate white flour, white sugar, and limit you grain consumption, because gluten is a significant disease causing toxin.

You want to avoid artificial ingredients, and GMOS.  These genetically modified plants are found in most processed foods. A recent study found they even contain carcinogens such as formaldehyde. They also contain extremely toxic pesticides.  Quite simply not healthy and do not provide any nutritional value.  It’s best to eat as much organic vegetables and fruit as possible.

There are also toxins in our water, air, homes, and workplaces. We’re exposed to more toxins today than ever before. Since World War II more than 84,000 chemicals have been released into the environment, and ended up in our bodies.  It’s important to use air and water filters.

Also, decrease your exposure to toxins that are contained in personal care and cleaning products.  I use organic products and make them myself, including my cleaning products.  I also use organic soaps, and make my own healthy lotions and creams that are free of all sorts of chemicals, including cancer causing parabens. Here’s a simple recipe you can for a great, toxin free all purpose cleaner:  to 8 ounces of water add 1 tbsp of white vinegar, put it in a spray bottle. It cleans windows, mirrors, counter tops

You also want to limit and reduce your exposure to noise and EMF pollution from cell phones, computers, tablets and other devices.  Both are linked to significant brain dysfunction, insomnia, heart disease and other illnesses.  A recent study found using a 3 G cell phone for 15 minutes harmfully changes brain structure.

Detoxifying Foods

There are nutrient dense foods and herbs that help eliminate toxins. They include green foods-broccoli, kale, spinach, brussel sprouts, asparagus, onions, garlic and cabbage. Their sprouts are even better.  Especially broccoli sprouts.  These sulfur-rich foods, in addition to being powerful detoxifiers, provide the body with a major mineral and most of us are deficient.  Sulfur deficiencies are linked to several chronic diseases, including metabolic syndrome, hypertension, fatigue, anxiety.

Also, cilantro, milk thistle parsley, dandelion, root, sea weeds, spirulina, chlorella, Anti-oxidants, vitamin C, and green tea, are also powerful detoxifiers. These foods and nutrients help to safely eliminate heavy metals, radioactive particles from your body.

Here’s a fascinating example of the remarkable, detoxifying power of food.  In 1945 in Nagasaki, Japan, the atomic bomb had just exploded.  While thousands were dying all around him, Dr. Tatsuichiro Akizuki at the St. Francis hospital only a mile from ground zero, did something remarkable and extraordinary.

He gave his staff and patients a diet of sea vegetables, brown rice, miso, kombucha, and wakame, and eliminated all sugars.

This very simple diet prevented them from developing the radiation poisoning that was all around them.  Thirty people at the hospital survived not only the atomic bomb blast and subsequent radiation. And many lived into the 21st century, never experiencing any radiation induced diseases.  Amazing, right?

So our food can be a source of great harm – as in the processed foods – or a great benefit –  food made by Mother Nature.

You can do this!  You can create a healthier, detoxifying internal environment, just as powerful as Dr. Akizuki did to protect your body from exposure to life endangering toxins.

To your accelerating health,

Dr. Elaine & James

Accelerate Your Health Day 3

Day 3 Accelerate Your Health Challenge Day 2

Listen NOW…

Welcome to Day 3!  I hope you are feeling better, and following the recommendations, that can have a significant impact on your health and well-being.

Yesterday Iared with you the importance of removing physical toxins.  It is equally important to detoxify emotionally.  Emotional toxicity and its impact on our health and well-being often remain ignored and unaddressed.  Most people don’t realize that experiencing chronic emotional toxicity not only contributes to the decline of our mental health, it also deteriorates our physical health.

What exactly is an emotional toxin? Negative emotions, anxiety, anger, fear, deep sadness, become physiologically toxic if you are experiencing them on a regular basis- because they trigger ongoing, unhealthy, biochemical changes.

Whatever you feel is REAL to your cells, even if you know it isn’t really true.  Every thought, feeling and emotion you experience triggers the release of matching chemicals that affect all of your cells. It’s normal to have emotional ups and downs, that’s part of being human.  However, it’s your ongoing emotional state that affects your health.

Our emotions are really our guides. They’re letting us know where we stand and what’s going on internally.  Now I don’t want this news to disturb you, it should make you feel empowered.

An important question I learned to ask my patients is, “What’s making you sick?” They all knew. Over 95% identified an extremely difficult, stressful emotional situation, usually involving a family member as the cause. Even though they knew the cause, they didn’t know what to do about it.  It’s not our jobs, our families, the news or events that’s making us sick.  It’s how we respond to them.  We always have a choice.

The rest identified chronic stress as the problem, and didn’t understand how it was now causing the disease, since it had been going on for so long.  I reminded them that it takes years of cigarette smoking, to cause cancer, and it doesn’t happen after smoking one pack.  I tell my patients, in response to regular survival mode functioning your body, whispers, speaks, speaks louder, yells, screams, then presents us with the gift of a dis-ease, because we did not pay attention.  Yes, it can be a disease-an opportunity to change your life.

Accelerate Your Health Day 4

Day 4 Accelerate Your Health Challenge

How’s your 7 day challenge coming along? Are you taking advantage of this opportunity to supercharge your health? I hope so.

Today we’re going to explore the importance of eating healthy foods.  You’ve heard this before-eat the rainbow of plants-veggies and fruit. I’m sure you all about  know eating the rainbow of vegetable is good for you.  Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables in a rainbow of colors – I’m talking about peppers, avocados, leafy green veggies, collards, spinach, kale,  Swiss chard, tomatoes, onions,  garlic, leeks, avocados, green beans,  eggplants, cabbage, brussel sprouts, asparagus,  beets, berries, grapes,  apples, bananas. The possibilities are endless.

Also, nuts are good for you! I particularly like walnuts, but we know that any nuts are healthy.  And including healthy fats such as olive, coconut and avocado is a good thing to do for your cells.

A recent nutritional study conducted in the UK, involving 80,000 participants that determined eating 7 servings of fruits and vegetables per day, significantly improved mood and alleviated symptoms of depression.

I recently learned about a food that is more potent than blueberries, contains far more nutrients and is relatively inexpensive. It’s black rice. It was once considered Forbidden Rice in ancient China because nobles took all of for themselves and forbade the others from eating it.  Thanks to today’s prolific farming, Black Rice is much cheaper, ounce for ounce than blueberries!

I also want you to eat Fermented Foods.  Fermented foods provide key nutrients, probiotics, enzymes and vitamins that all promote healthy cellular functioning. Miso, sauerkraut, kimchi, and you can make your own.

I want you to add the Spice – Turmeric (curcumin) The compound found in this yellow spice is called curcumin and has been shown to be an incredible antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.  It’s studied and evauated in more than 7000 scientific reports, is as effective as 14 different drugs for the treatment of a variety of conditions.  It can improve cognitive functioning in patients with Alzheimer’s disease.

In a study involving Alzheimer’s patients with severe symptoms, simply adding turmeric capsules equaling 1 gram – a quarter of a teaspoon –  for over one year alleviated some of their symptoms and lead to remarkable improvement in memory and thinking.

So consuming more plants, nuts, nutritional supplements, fermented foods and spices will go a long way in restoring damaged cells.

What you’re feeling and doing while you eat is just as important as what you eat. Your emotions guide your digestion. So you shouldn’t t eat when you’re upset, or anxious.  These toxic emotions significantly interfere with your digestion.

Juicing

Juicing is one of the best ways to enhance your cellular health. It provides highly concentrated amounts of powerful phytonutrients, that you can’t get it any other way. It’s very hard to eat pounds of veggies and fruit needed every day. Juicing is an easy way to make that happen.
When I first heard how a juicing regimen reversed several chronic diseases like; migraines, tuberculosis, even cancer through a particular juicing program, I couldn’t believe it.  I was still mired in my drug based education and couldn’t understand how something as simple as juices could be beneficial.   Today, nutrition research is at the forefront of cancer research. It is the cancer treatment of the future.

Fasting

Now can you imagine another important, little known way to improve your health is to give our cells a break? Doing so helps them function better.  So how do we do that?

Go from 6 pm to noon the next day once or twice a month without eating,  and your cells will love you.  Fasting triggers cellular repair mechanisms and also improves functioning.  Combined with exercise, fasting is particularly powerful.

Now we’ve covered food based nutrients. I want to share with you a key understanding: Your body affects your emotional health and your emotions affect your physical health.

While we know nutrient rich foods are necessary, we also need to add nutrient rich emotions.

It’s very difficult for our cells to heal if we don’t feel good.

Research has shown that optimists live longer, and better.  Positive emotions are nutrients, because they do the opposite of toxic ones. They release health-giving chemicals that allow cells to our function with ease.

Research has proven that negativity and pessimism can shorten your life by seven years. I’m not kidding. Your emotions are just that powerful. Optimists are healthier, and when they do get sick, they recover faster. When you feel better, your cells function better. It’s just that simple.  You are what you feel.

To your accelerating health,

Dr. Elaine

Accelerate Your Health Day 5

Day 5 Accelerate Your Health Challenge

Day 5 Add Positive Emotional Nutrients

Listen NOW…

Did you know that your emotions are more important than the food you eat and your exercise program?

While you can reduce your exposure to physical toxins in your diet, water, and other sources-that is a good thing.  You can’t eat or exercise your way to radiant, good health.  Yes, they can help to improve your health. But if you focus on your body, and ignore your emotional well-being, you remain at great risk of developing one or more chronic diseases.

Has your doctor discussed the role your emotions play? Probably not.   In medical school we were taught that emotions have absolutely nothing to do with physical health. Well, I’m here to tell you, that’s another myth.

Our ancestors around the globe, including Egypt, China, Greece, recognized the connection between, stress, emotions, attitudes, physical health and long term well-being.

When it comes to developing heart disease and cancer, there’s a contributor that’s 6 times more likely to cause their development, in comparison to smoking, cholesterol, or blood pressure, and much more responsive to intervention.  It’s unmanaged emotional stress. Let me repeat—6 times more predictive and more responsive.  And it is much more responsive to treatment.

According to a government report and the American Stress Institute-it’s also the cause of 90-95% of all doctor’s office visits.

Haven’t you seen people do all of the right things and still get sick? They exercised, ate the right food, and you wondered what happened to them? They ignored their emotional stress and it wreaked havoc on their health.  Then they went to their doctors to get treatment for their symptoms.

One of the greatest clues was given to me years ago when a teenage granddaughter of one of my patients told me, “Grandma only gets sick when she’s upset.”  How profoundly accurate and astute.

You see, research has proven that negativity and pessimism can shorten your life by seven years. I’m not kidding. Your thoughts are just that powerful.

Dr. William Osler, a founder of modern medicine said almost 100 years ago, “It is much more important to know what sort of a patient has disease that what sort of disease a patient has.”

A study found that men who complain of high anxiety are up to six times more likely than calmer men to suffer sudden death.  While a twenty year study involving over 1700 men conducted at the Harvard School of Public health found that worry about social conditions, health and personal finances all significantly increased the risk of heart disease.

Focus Your Thoughts on Your  Health and FEELING Better:

Focusing on your health, on getting well as often as possible is very important.  Your thoughts, feelings, and emotions influence your body’s ability to heal and regenerate.

I like affirmations, so here’s one that I want to share with you to help you:
I am healthy!

I intend to accelerate my health

I intend to improve my health

I am healthy!

I am SuperHealing now!

I have the ability to superheal my body, mind and spirit!

My body was created to experience vibrant health and well-being!

I can heal faster!

I am SuperHealing now!

I intend to get discharged from the hospital faster.

I am healthy, happy, and whole.

My health is improving more and more, and I am getting well faster than I can imagine.

My body is strong and remarkable. It is healing now!

I am healing now!

I am feeling better and better!

I am getting stronger and stronger!

I am so happy and grateful for all that is functioning in my body!

I am grateful for my body!

I love my body!

I am healthy, happy and whole.

These affirmations may sound silly, but let me assure you, if you focus on them and similar ones for at least 15-30 minutes a day, you will see a profound shift in how you feel.

Psychologists call this process, “cognitive- behavioral programming,” while the self-help coaches call them, “affirmations.”

You can call them whatever pleases you. Just know, if you use affirmations appropriately on a daily basis, saying and feeling them as if they are true, literally, changes the cells and organs within your body, and helps them to get well faster!

Keep up the good work!

To your good health,

Dr. Elaine

Accelerate Your Health Day 6 Sleep, Movement and Meditation

Day 6 Accelerate Your Health Challenge

Listen Now…

Are you getting enough sleep? This is one of the most important things you can ever do!!

Get 7.5 to 8 hours of sleep

While it may not seem critical, trust me when I tell you that it is. Sleep, a good night’s sleep is key to accelerating your health. Most Americans and people living in westernized cultures are chronically sleep deprived. It is just as important for radiant health as is eating nutrient dense food and exercise. If you don’t get a good night’s sleep, your health will deteriorate.

Your body’s sleep-wake cycle, or circadian rhythm, plays a central role in multiple processes.

Sleep deprivation has the same effect on your immune system as physical stress or illness which may help explain why sleep deprivation is linked to an increased risk of numerous chronic diseases. It affects everything from your mood and functioning to disease development and obesity.

Failure to get regular adequate sleep has the capacity to impact your entire health.

In the last two or three decades researchers have discovered just how critical sleep is. While sleeping your brain cells decrease in size, and that helps them more efficiently detoxify.

Sleep is also linked to melatonin. It is an a hormone that is also an anti-oxidant and has cancer protective properties.

Lack of sleep diminishes your fat regulating hormone leptin, while increase the level of the hunger hormone, ghrelin.

If you’re getting seven hours of sleep at night, getting an extra hour of sleep can have a significant impact on your health.

Not getting an extra hour of sleep can increase your risk of developing heart isease, cancer, diabetes, hypertension and cognitive impairment to name a few.
1. An hour before your go to sleep, avoid watching television or using your computer or smart phone
2. Sleep in a very darkroom
3. Keep the temperature in your bedroom below 70 degrees.
4. Take a hot bath
5. Do not use alcohol or sleep aids to help you sleep
6. Try Theanine before going to sleep (especially if you’re feeling anxious and are experiencing racing thoughts).
7. Glass of warm organic (or growth hormone free) milk
Just Move It!

It is critical to move often to improve your health. Yes, you can add movement. There are two types of movement I want you to understand.

It’s imperative to realize how critical exercise and movement are to SuperHealing your cells.

Did you know exercise offers significant protective benefits. A year of moderate exercise, such as walking, can increase the size of the hippocampus, the memory center in your brain, and improve your memory?

Walking up to 5 miles a week can protect you in your 60s, 70s, and 80s, from developing mild cognitive impairment, which can lead to dementia. Exercising in your 40s and 50s will decrease your risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease by a whopping 39 percent. Exercise also keeps your cells young, improves your mood, and significantly lowers your risk of developing age-related chronic diseases.

So these are pretty compelling reasons to get out of the chair and get active. Whatever you do, please move! Your cells will reward you.

While moderate exercise 180 minutes a week is recommended, the latest research has determined as little as 5 minutes a day can improve your health. Some beats none! Can you do that? Of course you can. I found a study that determined moving for a mere 6 seconds helped prevent the development of serious illness in senior citizens.

In addition, there are also non-exercise movements that can make a huge difference.

It’s important to move often, on an hourly basis. Walking 2 minutes an hour is good, or even simple stretches in your chair. These small movements or interruptions are enough to help protect your health.

The Movement Paradox-If You Don’t Move-Meditate!

One final thing I want to share with you is a remarkable and powerful paradox. Earlier, I promised coach potatoes that I had something exciting to share—here it is. The asterisk in the health equals nutrients minus toxins plus movement represents the great paradox of movement. If you can’t move, meditate. What? The cellular changes induced by meditation not only interrupt the harmful changes that being sedentary cause, but is also as mentioned earlier highly beneficial.

So if you can’t move meditate. It causes significant physiological improvements that are the opposite of what happens when you’re sedentary. Your cells are stagnant and sluggish when you’re a couch potato, or sitting for too long. But meditation changes that function to a far healthier one. Isn’t that good news?

It’s never too late to improve your health! As long as you’re on this side of the grass, it is never, ever too late.

To your good health,

Dr. Elaine

Accelerate Your Health Day 7

Day 7 Accelerate Your Health Challenge

Listen Now…

Love is the most powerful nutrient that your body needs to experience vibrant health and well-being.It is the vital, essential, ingredient needed. Nothing can replace it. You can do everything all of the right things to your body. But if you don’t love yourself, your cells and your body will not reach their true health potential.

I have always suspected that love plays a critical role in our lives. Little did I know how important it is to our health and well-being. During a child psychology class in college, I learned that orphaned babies and animals, even when given everything they physically needed, food, clothing, shelter, die in the absence of love. Some call it a failure to thrive. The bottom line, in my opinion is that we cannot thrive in the absence of love. And we need love throughout the span of our lives.

Love is a super nutrient, the essential ingredient needed for good health. To achieve, a state of high level functioning that you are actively supporting your 50 trillion cells, you must love yourself. It is full spectrum, whole being, vibrant health and well-being at its best. That’s why I stated at the beginning, the health equation includes more than you ever imagined.

You can do all of the right things, and if you don’t love yourself, I promise you—you will not experience ongoing health.

Love turns on and off healthy genes. It begins long before you were born, Love enhances every physiological function within you 50 trillion cells that you can imagine.

Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross said years ago, “I think modern medicine has become like a prophet offering a life free of pain. It is nonsense. The only that that truly heals people is unconditional love.”

While Dr. Christiane Northrup noted, “If we had a rampant epidemic of self-love, health care costs would dramatically decrease. Why? Because love will dramatically elevate our health!

I have spent my entire career devoted to the study of health, and I’ve come to the conclusion that good self-care and love is the single most important aspect of our health, period.

What do you see when you look in a mirror? Do you love what you see, or do you immediately begin to criticize what you perceive as wrong.

That person in the mirror is longing to be loved and set free from all the harm you’ve unintentionally given it. I’m talking about treating that person with the utmost care, as you would a precious, newborn baby. Treating it with kindness, tender loving care, believing the best of that reflection in the mirror, and knowing your true value. Your value that is beyond your body, beyond your job and accomplishments, your success and material accumulation, or the lack thereof.

Love is generous giving and supporting. It’s about caring enough to want the very best life for someone you love… and that includes you.

We overlook the most critical, underlying epidemics. While we fear the latest flu virus, and other infections, the most important one, we have ignored and unconsciously supported is the epidemic of self-rejection, self-dislike, even self-loathing in this world, and especially in our nation. And until we address it—individually and collectively, we will remain unhealthy, and unwell, individually, in our families, communities, nation and our world.

How do I love myself?

Most importantly, the first step, stop doing all of the things that make you feel bad about who you are—your body, your age, whatever it is. Embrace you all of you. Stop rejecting, criticizing, and saying horrible things to yourself. Interrupt and dismiss your inner critic.

Whatever your circumstances are, you have you. You can love you. And your cells are wanting, if not needing you to do just that, because that’s when they are their most powerful. When you love you—you are loving each and every one of your 50 trillion cells. And the opposite is true as well.

Steps to Self-love

You love yourself engaging these five principles:
1. Attention-Pay attention to yourself—to your thoughts, feelings, emotions, to your body, and the messages it is sending to you.
2. Awareness-Be aware
3. Acceptance Accept yourself just the way you are, not how you want to be
4. Appreciation-Appreciate yourself for the unique and precious being that you are. There is no one else on this earth exactly like you!
5. Affirmation-Affirm your value (sincerely)
Your cells function at a much higher and efficient level when you experience love, joy and happiness. That’s why self-sacrifice ultimately makes us sick and keeps us stuck in dead-end situations. There is nothing brave or honorable about sacrificing your own health. It’s about opening this gift of life

Pay attention, and live in the moment. You can’t improve your health today, by living in the past or in the future. It is critical to live in the moment, some call it now. Doing so will optimize your cellular physiology.

So what do I mean when I say live in the moment? We often live in the past or the future, and not in the here and now. That affects our cells.

Accepting your life and all the moments that make up your life without judgment. It is being fully alive right here, right now, which is the only place we truly have.

Too often we dwell on regrets over the past or dwell on fears of the future.

Simply acknowledging and saying out loud every day, “This is my life, and today I’m going to live it to the best of my abilities,” is not only a signal to your cells to function as they should, but the very foundation. We know our intentions set a chemical matrix that causes dramatic physical changes in our cells to support your intention.

I tell my patients and clients you must decide you are going to be healthy. Until you do, your efforts are not as likely to become true.

SuperHealing is not self-help, it is self-empowerment, self-actualization. It sustains and enhances the health of all those around you. If you’re on a plane, you know that the flight attendant will instruct you to secure your own oxygen mask before assisting others. The same is true of love: You must love yourself first

That’s when there is an opportunity to do something extraordinary. Your cells still need the energy from positive thoughts and emotions and from being loved. They need you. Will you side with the void? Or will you stand up, look in that mirror, and say, “I love you. Just the way you are. I will take care of you.”
