Day 11: Begin Burnout Prevention Now!

Listen NOW…

When students and medical schools are not as successful at replenishing and shoring up the reservoir, negative outcomes such as professional burnout, cynicism, pessimism, and frustration can result, leading to diminished mental health and compromised patient care.
You focused on your dream, getting in, no one told you the entire truth about the intense, unrelenting nature of your education.

During medical school, your work-life balance is practically non-existent.  You have very little flexibility, for the most part.  But even in the mist of the most adverse situations, you can shift your thoughts, feelings and emotional response, as well as your thoughts, to those that are healthier and more beneficial to you.

To your good health,
